I finally finished my grand daughter, Emma's cape. Despite 3 buttons that have to added later tonight. I am going out to pick them out, I wanted to wait until it was complete.
I really enjoyed making this cape and plan on making another one this winter for Emma in spring, only this time I plan on adding armholes. I made this using Cascade 220 Heathers 2441 and love the way the yarn worked on the needles. I am a Cascade fan without a doubt. I think the tag added a bit of a keepsake charm. Don't you agree? Nothing is better than handmade especially when it's from grandma!
